The Italeri 1/35 Kübelwagen (312) is a 1/35 scale model kit of the Volkswagen Kübelwagen — the lightweight German utility vehicle that became the Wehrmacht's most widely used light transport. Developed from the civilian Beetle and fitted with a purpose-designed open military body, the Kübelwagen served on all fronts from 1940 to 1945 in reconnaissance, liaison, and staff roles. Its combination of reliability, simplicity, and economy made it the ideal companion to the Jeep as the German answer to Allied light utility transport.
