The Italeri 1/48 Fiat CR.42 Falco Assault/Night Fighter (2842) is a 1/48 scale model kit of the Fiat CR.42 Falco in assault and night fighter variants — the Italian biplane fighter that was one of the last significant biplane combat aircraft to see service in WWII. Despite its antique biplane configuration, the CR.42 was manoeuvrable and well-built, serving in the assault and night intruder roles even in 1941-43. An unusual and fascinating late biplane subject.
