The Italeri 1/48 Junkers Ju-87G-1 Stuka Kanonenvogel (2830) is a 1/48 scale model kit of the Ju 87G-1 'Kanonenvogel' (Cannon Bird) — the anti-tank variant of the Stuka, famously flown by Hans-Ulrich Rudel, the most decorated German serviceman of WWII. The G-1 replaced the dive bombing equipment with two 37mm BK 3.7 anti-tank cannon pods under the wings, and in the hands of Rudel destroyed over 500 Soviet tanks. An extraordinary aircraft in an extraordinary application.
