The Italeri 1/48 Macchi MC.200 1a Serie (2815) is a 1/48 scale model kit of the Macchi MC.200 Saetta in its original 1st series production form — the open-cockpit initial production variant with the characteristic rounded humpback fuselage designed around the Fiat A.74 radial engine. The 1st series was the first significant modern Italian fighter of WWII and the MC.200's entry into service marked a major improvement in Italian fighter capability.
