The Italeri 1/48 North American FJ-2/3 Fury (2811) is a 1/48 scale model kit of the North American FJ Fury — the US Navy's carrier-based adaptation of the F-86 Sabre, developed to bring swept-wing jet fighter capability to the fleet. The FJ-2 and FJ-3 featured carrier-specific modifications including folding wings, an arrester hook, and strengthened undercarriage. The Fury served with the USMC and US Navy in the early 1950s as America's first operational carrier jet with swept wings.
