The Italeri 1/48 RAF Hurricane Mk.I Battle of Britain (2802) is a 1/48 scale model kit of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I in RAF Battle of Britain configuration — the fighter that shouldered the main burden of Britain's defence in the summer of 1940. While the Spitfire has captured more of the public imagination, the Hurricane destroyed more enemy aircraft during the Battle of Britain and was more numerous in RAF squadrons.
