The Italeri 1/48 Reggiane Re.2000 (2771) is a 1/48 scale model kit of the Reggiane Re.2000 Falco — the Italian WWII fighter that was one of the better Italian combat aircraft of the early war period but was surprisingly not adopted in quantity by the Regia Aeronautica, instead being exported to Hungary and Sweden. The Re.2000 featured an unusual wing structure incorporating self-sealing fuel tanks in a stressed-skin design. An interesting and relatively rarely modelled Italian WWII subject.
