The Italeri 1/48 British Army AH-64D Apache (2748) is a 1/48 scale model kit of the Boeing AH-64D Apache in British Army Air Corps service — the formidable attack helicopter that gives the British Army its primary anti-armour and close air support capability. The British WAH-64D features the Rolls-Royce/Turbomeca RTM322 engines in place of the US General Electric T700. The Apache served in Afghanistan where it proved extremely effective in close support of ground forces.
