The Italeri 1/35 Panther Ausf.A (270) is a 1/35 scale model kit of the Panzerkampfwagen V Panther Ausf.A — the most produced Panther variant, featuring an improved commander's cupola with armoured periscopes over the Ausf.D and the same powerful 7.5cm KwK 42 L/70 gun. The Panther was arguably the finest tank of WWII in terms of the balance of firepower, protection, and mobility, though it was mechanically unreliable early in its service life.
