The Italeri 1/72 Reggiane Re.2002 Ariete (1472) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the Reggiane Re.2002 Ariete (Ram) — the Italian fighter-bomber of WWII that proved a capable ground attack aircraft despite its limited numbers. The Re.2002 was a further development of the Re.2000 series with a Piaggio P.XIX radial engine, and was used for dive bombing and ship attack in the Mediterranean from 1942. An interesting and rarely modelled Italian subject representing the more capable later Reggiane designs.
