The Italeri 1/72 Ju 87 G-2 Kanonenvogel (1466) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the Junkers Ju 87 G-2 'Kanonenvogel' (Cannon Bird) — the anti-tank variant of the Stuka armed with twin 37mm BK 3.7 cannon pods. Hans-Ulrich Rudel, the most decorated German serviceman of WWII, claimed over 500 tank kills flying the Ju 87G, making this variant one of the most devastating anti-tank aircraft of the war. Even at compact 1/72 scale, the twin cannon pods are immediately distinguishable from the standard Stuka.
