The Italeri 1/72 McDonnell Douglas F-4E/F Phantom II (1448) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the F-4E and F-4F Phantom II — the cannon-armed E model and the German Air Force-specific F model of this legendary multi-role fighter. The F-4E's M61 Vulcan cannon addressed a key weakness of earlier Phantoms in close air combat, while the F-4F was a simplified export Phantom produced for the Luftwaffe without the Sparrow missiles and with other changes.
