The Tamiya 1/12 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R (14084) reproduces the Kawasaki that stole the world's fastest production motorcycle title from the Honda Super Blackbird in 2000 — the ZX-12R that used a semi-monocoque aluminium chassis and a 1199cc inline-four to achieve over 180mph. The ZX-12R's aerodynamic fairing, ram air intake, and powerful engine made it a landmark performance motorcycle, and the intense rivalry between it and Honda's Blackbird defined the hyperbike class at the turn of the millennium.
