The Tamiya 1/12 Suzuki RGV-Γ XR89 (14081) reproduces the Suzuki factory Grand Prix racer from 1999 — the XR89 that Kenny Roberts Jr. and Sete Gibernau raced in the final era of the 500cc two-stroke World Championship. The XR89 represented the pinnacle of Suzuki's long development of the V4 two-stroke 500cc racer, featuring sophisticated chassis technology and a screaming V4 engine producing around 180hp from just 499cc — an achievement of engineering art.
