The Tamiya 1/12 Honda RS1000 Endurance Racer (14014) reproduces the Honda RS1000 that competed in endurance racing during the early 1980s — the four-cylinder racer developed for the Le Mans 24 Hours, Bol d'Or, and other long-distance classics. Honda's endurance racing programme of this era was extremely successful, with the RS1000 winning multiple events and establishing Honda's reputation in the demanding world of 24-hour racing before the company moved to outright GP domination.
