The Italeri 1/72 Spitfire Mk.VI (1307) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VI — the high-altitude interceptor variant fitted with extended 'B' wingtips and a pressurised cockpit for operations against high-flying German aircraft and reconnaissance machines. The Mk.VI was an interim high-altitude solution before the superior Mk.VII was available, and it served mainly over Britain and Malta in 1942. The extended wingtips give the Mk.VI a distinctive and elegant profile different from standard Spitfires.
