The Italeri 1/72 F-104G Starfighter Reece (1296) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the Lockheed F-104G in reconnaissance configuration — the camera-equipped variant of the famous 'missile with a man in it' that served NATO air forces in the tactical reconnaissance role. The F-104G was the most widely produced Starfighter variant, serving with Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, and other NATO members. The reece variant fitted camera pods to the characteristic needle-nosed fuselage for battlefield intelligence gathering.
