The Italeri 1/72 CANT Z.501 Gabbiano (112) is a 1/72 scale model kit of the CANT Z.501 Gabbiano ('Seagull') — the Italian flying boat that served as the Regia Aeronautica's primary maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft in the Mediterranean. Despite its biplane layout seeming obsolete by WWII, the Z.501 served throughout the conflict in maritime patrol, convoy escort, and air-sea rescue roles. One of the most distinctive Italian aircraft subjects in 1/72 scale.
