The Mk.III Meteor was the second production model of Britain’s first jet fighter and entered RAF service before the end of World War II. Following the war, Mk.III Meteors briefly served with frontline RAF squadrons.
This kit includes three sprues of grey plastic and one clear parts sprue. The decal sheet offers markings for four aircraft: two wartime examples—one featuring a distinctive white scheme flown in Belgium in March 1945 and another with the standard disruptive camouflage—and two post-war machines, one in the same wartime colours and the other in natural metal finish.
This reissued kit presents historically accurate camouflage schemes and markings for both wartime and post-war Meteors. A compatible mask (M72034) is also available for this model.
