1/48 Academy - US Navy SB2U-3 Vindicator "Battle of Midway" Dive Bomber Aircraft

A 1/48 scale model kit of the Vought SB2U-3 Vindicator, a US Navy dive bomber that saw combat during World War II, most notably at the Battle of Midway in 1942. Although already considered outdated by the time of the battle, the SB2U-3 was still used by Marine Corps squadrons for scouting and bombing missions against Japanese forces.
