The Borgward IV Panzerjäger "Wanze" represents a desperate innovation of Germany's final months in 1945. Derived from the Schwerer Ladungsträger platform, this tank destroyer mounted six RPzB 54/1 anti-tank rockets, the formidable Panzerschreck, making it a potent anti-armour weapon during the Battle for Berlin. Only 56 examples were hastily converted from the standard heavy carrier variant.
