The Dax Honda EXPORT 70 earned its nickname from the distinctive "T-bone" frame that resembled a Dachshund when it debuted in 1969. This revolutionary design enclosed the fuel tank completely whilst allowing the front section to detach for compact storage and transport. Powered by Honda's legendary Super Cub engine, a 4-cycle OHC single-cylinder unit paired with a 3-speed gearbox, the Dax combined affordability with exceptional reliability, making it an ideal entry point for novice riders.

This 1/6 scale Tamiya assembly kit captures the Dax's engineering brilliance in meticulous detail. The 250mm model features a fully functional sprung main stand and brake pedal, articulated front fork, and folding handlebar mirror. The double seat opens via lever mechanism, whilst front and rear coil-spring suspensions deliver authentic motion. Metal-plated wheels, fenders, muffler and handlebar complement the intricately detailed OHC engine with cooling fins. Realistic tread-pattern tyres, vinyl cable tubing, and Cartograf decals complete this faithful reproduction of a motorcycle icon.
