The Czechoslovakian LT vz.35 light tank, developed in the 1930s, was equipped with a 37mm gun and two machine guns, making it a reliable and effective vehicle for its time. Known as the Panzerkampfwagen 35(t) in German service—the “t” denoting its Czechoslovakian origin—it was valued for its speed across diverse terrain and operational autonomy. The tank saw action during the Polish and French campaigns, as well as early in Operation Barbarossa. By 1941, it was phased out as a frontline tank and repurposed for reconnaissance, support, or transferred to Axis allies like Bulgaria and Romania.
