The Leopard 2A7A1 represents the latest evolution of the successful Leopard series. With an order for 17 units, the Bundeswehr is investing more than 525.6 million euros in this modernization of its tank fleet. The optionally available Trophy protection system makes it one of the best-protected main battle tanks in the world. The further development to the Leopard 2A8 is already firmly planned with 105 units.
