Originally released in the late 1980s as a street-legal homage to Yamaha’s endurance racing success, the OW01 was a technological marvel, featuring a race-derived 5-valve DOHC inline-4 engine, titanium components, and the advanced EXUP system. The real-life machine, based on the victorious YZF750 from the Suzuka 8 Hours, was produced in a limited run of just 1,000 units, making it highly sought-after among collectors and enthusiasts.
