Three new Aircraft kits landing from Special Hobby this August
Share
Three new 1/72 kits from Special Hobby are now available to pre-order, landing this August, and the standout is without doubt the De Havilland Mosquito PR Mk.XVI; a high-altitude long-range reconnaissance aircraft that played a vital role in RAF photo intelligence during the latter part of the Second World War.
This kit offers excellent surface detail, crisp moulding, and comes with a set of decal options covering both RAF and USAAF service. With its glazed nose, extended wingtips, and pressurised cockpit, it’s a distinctive variant that’s been long overdue in this scale from a mainstream manufacturer.
Also arriving:
1/72 D.H.98 Mosquito NF Mk.XXX ‘Night Predator’ – A radar-equipped night fighter version, complete with underwing radar pods and alternate nose options.
1/72 Gloster Meteor F Mk.III – The RAF’s first operational jet fighter, here in its wartime configuration with the early canopy and classic twin-engine nacelles.
