We're pleased to now stock Colour Forge Primers, a dependable, UK-made option that delivers excellent performance straight from the can, providing long-lasting results on various surfaces like plastic, resin, and metal. 

Having used these primers ourselves for some time, we’ve found them to offer excellent coverage and a smooth, matte finish that creates the ideal surface for subsequent paint layers. Whether you're working on plastic kits, resin figures or metal miniatures, Colour Forge primers adhere well and help preserve surface detail. Do note that the final sprayed colour often appears slightly lighter than the shade indicated on the can.

These acrylic primers dry quickly, provide a solid base for any paint system, and are available in a variety of tones to help with opacity and basecoat efficiency. While we don’t yet carry the full range, we’ve stocked what was currently available to us.

We also want to be transparent about pricing. At present, we make very little margin on these items in order to keep our in-store prices competitive. However, we’re pleased to say we’ve now sourced a new trade supplier offering a more favourable rate. Once that supply chain is in place, we plan to pass those savings on and reduce prices even further from our already low £10.99.
