The scuttle shaped shako introduced in 1812 dates the set precisely, and carbine armed troopers suit the Borodino period.

Russian hussars were known for their colourful uniforms, giving painters a wonderful opportunity to work with bright regimental colours, braiding and horse furniture. With 18 riders in the box, the set provides a solid cavalry unit for Napoleonic wargames. They look particularly effective massed together on a base to recreate a charge from the 1812 campaign.

Key Features

18 mounted figures with 18 horses

Eight rider poses and four horse poses

Average figure height of 24.5 mm, true to scale

Unpainted grey plastic

Quick Facts

Manufacturer: Zvezda

Kit number: Z8055

Scale: 1/72

Barcode: 4600327080554

Pairs well with: Zvezda 1/72 Napoleonic Russian infantry sets

Paints, glue and tools are not included.
