D (Z3678) depicts the first production version of Germany's famous medium tank, developed in answer to the Soviet T-34 and first committed at the Battle of Kursk in 1943. It offers a strong balance of detail and value for experienced armour builders.

The Ausf. D is the Panther as it first appeared, with the early cupola and many first production features that disappeared on later versions. The dark yellow plastic gives a useful base colour, and the kit is best suited to modellers with some armour experience who enjoy working with individual track links.

Key Features

698 parts moulded in dark yellow plastic

Workable link and length tracks with individual links

Partial turret interior with breech and turret floor

Hinged rear hatch, posable driver's visor and clear vision parts

Optional cupola, mud flap, engine deck and stowage parts

Markings for two vehicles from the Battle of Kursk

Quick Facts

Manufacturer: Zvezda

Kit number: Z3678

Scale: 1/35

Barcode: 4600327036780

Pairs well with: Zvezda 1/35 German tank crew figure sets

Paints, glue and tools are not included.
