Germany's Leopard 2 family has been the most widely exported Western tank since the 1980s, and the 2A7 represents its modern German Army standard. Its extra armour modules, sensors and long gun make it a bulky, imposing model, quite different in outline from earlier versions such as the Leopard 2A4.

Key Features

Long L55 120mm main gun

Additional protection modules on hull and turret

New parts compared with Meng's earlier Leopard 2A4 kit

Detailed running gear and tracks

Decals and painting guide included

Paints, glue and modelling tools are needed to finish the Leopard and are sold separately.
