Lockheed Martin's conventional take off variant combines stealth shaping with advanced sensor fusion, and Japan plans a large fleet of F-35A and F-35B aircraft. Japan's first F-35As were assembled at a final assembly and check out facility in Nagoya, and the JASDF uses them to replace its ageing F-4 Phantoms. The type's grey stealth finish rewards careful weathering.

Key Features

Injection moulded plastic kit in 1/48 scale

Stealth airframe with internal weapons bays

Clear canopy parts

Markings for Japan Air Self Defense Force aircraft

Built on Meng's 1/48 F-35A tooling

Cement, paint and modelling tools are required and sold separately.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0861/4966/0938/files/meng-1-48-f-35a-lightning-ii-jasdf-1782729764385.webp?v=1782729769
