GMC and other manufacturers produced more than half a million of these trucks during the war. Wooden cargo bodies were introduced to save steel, and the six wheel drive layout gave the truck good off road performance. Postwar, CCKW trucks continued to serve in many armies around the world for decades.

Key Features

Wood grain effect on the cargo bed and side panels

Full engine with detailed fan and radiator

Two photo etched sheets, with bending diagrams in the instructions

Separate wheel rims for depth

Leaf spring suspension and multi part driveshaft

Rope and wire supplied

Glue, paint and tools must be purchased separately to complete this kit.
