The kit shows the wheeled, amphibious launcher with its single missile.

Introduced in the 1970s as a more accurate replacement for the FROG rockets, the Tochka served the Soviet Army and its successor states for decades. Each launcher carries a single missile, raised from inside the hull for firing, and the vehicle can swim across rivers. Tochka missiles were used in the Chechen wars and have featured heavily in more recent conflicts. On the shelf, the low six wheeled hull makes a neat contrast with larger eight wheeled Scud launchers.

Key Features

Newly tooled with over 60 parts on three sprues, plus separate upper and lower hulls

Rubber tyres for the six wheel running gear

Masks included for the clear parts

Single missile with its launch rail and erector

Decals and colour schemes provided

Paint, glue and tools are needed to complete the model and are sold separately.
