Revealed in 2018, these modified aircraft (often called MiG-31K) have been widely reported in recent conflicts. The Kh-47M2 is understood to be derived from the Iskander ground launched ballistic missile and is reported to reach hypersonic speeds. Displaying the large missile beneath the long Foxhound fuselage makes for a striking and very topical model.

Key Features

MiG-31BM airframe on Hobby Boss's 1/48 Foxhound tooling

Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missile for the centreline station

Clear parts for the tandem cockpit

Injection moulded plastic with engraved panel lines

Waterslide decals included

Cement, paints and modelling tools are needed to complete the build and are not included.
