The 44M Tas heavy tank itself was intended to match the German Panther, and the assault gun version was planned to carry a heavy gun in a fixed casemate. Hungary had already fielded the successful Zrínyi assault guns, and the Tas Rohamlöveg was meant to provide a much more powerful successor. Building it lets modellers explore a fascinating what if chapter of Hungarian armour development, and it makes an unusual companion to a 44M Tas tank model in a Hungarian display.

Key Features

Injection moulded plastic parts

Low armoured casemate superstructure with a long gun

Running gear based on the 44M Tas heavy tank

Decal sheet included

Glue, paints and modelling tools are needed and are sold separately.
