The kit can be built either full hull or waterline.

Only 14 Type IXB boats were built, yet together they sank more shipping than any other U-boat type. With six torpedo tubes and a 105mm deck gun, they ranged far into the Atlantic; U-107 was among the most successful. Type IX boats were larger than the more numerous Type VII, carrying more fuel and torpedoes for long patrols into the South Atlantic and off the coast of Africa.

Key Features

Choice of full hull or waterline display

Injection moulded plastic parts

New tooling released in 2007

Captures the larger hull and deck gun of the Type IX

Glue, paints and basic tools are needed to finish this kit and are sold separately.
