Leopold and its sister gun Robert shelled the Allied beachhead at Anzio in 1944, earning the nickname 'Anzio Annie', and Leopold is preserved today in the United States. Each gun weighed around 218 tonnes and could hurl a 255 kg shell more than 60 km, making the K5(E) a formidable long range weapon. Displayed on its track sections, the model makes a dramatic centrepiece.

Key Features

Around 316 injection moulded parts

Railway track segments included for display

Long 280mm barrel and full twin bogie carriage

A substantial model even in 1/72 scale

Waterslide decals included

Paint, cement and modelling tools are required and sold separately.
