Markings are included for Israeli and Japanese Cobras.

The AH-1S brought TOW missiles and improved systems to the Cobra line and was adopted by the US Army and many allies, including Israel, where Cobras saw extensive combat, and Japan, which built them under licence. The single engine Cobra was the world's first purpose built attack helicopter, born from experience in Vietnam. Its narrow fuselage made it a hard target, and the AH-1S standard introduced flat plate canopy glazing and improved avionics. Israeli Cobras were nicknamed Tzefa, meaning viper, and served for decades before retiring.

Key Features

Five sprues of plastic parts, one of them clear

One piece clear canopy

Large locating tabs help parts go together positively

Markings for an Israeli Cobra with snake artwork and a camouflaged Japanese example

Paints, glue and modelling tools are required and are sold separately.
